Ltd is an Indian manufacturer of borosilicate glass chemical process equipment and turnkey processing plants, based in the Vapi GIDC industrial estate in Valsad district, Gujarat, India. The company designs, fabricates, and exports reactors, distillation systems, extraction units, gas absorption and generation systems, solvent and bromine recovery plants, and precious metals refining plants. It serves agrochemical, pharmaceutical and bulk drug, specialty chemical, perfumery and aromatics, herbal, biotech, and R&D laboratory customers in India and internationally. K-JHIL began in 1990 as a small glassware manufacturing unit and moved into industrial equipment fabrication for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries after establishing itself in Vapi GIDC in 1995. It completed its first export of a full package system to the United States in 1997, developed pilot plants, thin film evaporators, and bromine and HCl recovery systems between 2000 and 2018, and now builds fully automated precious metal recovery plants for international projects. The company holds memberships and affiliations from TUV and DAR. Equipment is supplied at laboratory, kilo-lab, pilot, and industrial scale, in manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic PLC/SCADA configurations. Materials of construction include borosilicate glass 3.3, glass-lined steel, stainless steel, PTFE and PVDF, and alloys such as Hastelloy.
